Favorite Chrono Cross Character

I personally like Serge- I know it's kind of typical to pick the main character but; Eh, whatcha gonna do?
So who is your favorite character & why?

I think we had this once...
I'm not 100% sure though.

Mine is Leena (either world); she seemed like a strong kind of young women with a fairly big heart, not to mention you get that funny moment if you bring her with you to enter the swamp when you are trying to get the cure for Kid.

Leena and Serge forever! (although I love Kid too)

I like Leena. I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure Harle would be my second favorite, a close tie for Serge.

It's hard to not choose Serge :

-Coolest weapon
-One of the best character design imo (along with Kid, Karsh and Glenn)
-Best techs
-Best stats
-Similar to Crono

I also like... Mojo and Turnip. They are disturbing.

...you ever wonder if this could go anywhere with there being so many playable characters in Chrono Cross? I mean, unless a hundred people or so poll, then...

...wait a second, why ARE there so many playable characters, anyway? I mean, I only ever use three... ever. I mean, seriously. I have my team, and I stick with it.

I agree with you, but the appropriate answer is so that you CAN have your team, you're not stuck with the initial team they give you.

True, but then you  have so many people to keep up with, and every single one has their own abilities, and then you're stuck leveling every single one up, hoping to find the right combination, and THEN you have the story-driven characters you keep together because...

...okay, I'm just putting this out right now: I would have found it a whole lot easier with all the characters if you could swap them out at any time, like in Chrono Trigger. Having to wait 'till a savepoint or map screen got frustrating at times.

I agree with you there, tiny. I've found that I stick with one or two characters because either the other ones suck, take a lot of effort to get, are super annoying, or otherwise terrify me. I'm looking at YOU, NeoFio...

As for favorite characters, I personally enjoyed the design of Dark Serge, but really like Kid a lot. She's ready to kill you over ANYTHING.

We already had  poll like this, but meh... I vote for Kid again. Serge is very close though.

And then you're stuck with Serge or Lynx in your team for most of the game... Also, it's a pain to get rainbow weapons for all of them, shiny materials don't grow in the trees, you know? xD
