You use the controls to select different commands and choices that affect the game on a whole. It's a great game, you should try it.

As for the price, RD is a pretty hard game to get a hold of, I guess. I'd say somewhere in between oodles and gobs. Just as a rough estimate.

well that shop in japan had it on sell for 700 some odd bucks, so definitely right around that price

I think it's worth that for its rarity and obscurity, not for the game itself. It's really only for collectors.

Solaris seems to be the only importshop with a nice little selection of Satellaview games. Not cheap, but cheaper than yahoo auctions...
I am happy that I already have my copy... SFC and SNES prices go crazy lately.

I really cant believe why they didn't put it into one of the Chrono Trigger Remakes or at least Virtual Console. Probably because they don't want it to exist next to Chrono Cross.

But well... from now you can be pretty sure that the game will keep its price if you get it, since another release was already denied by S-E.

I love the game and its really a damn shame that it fell into obscurity and it is only something for people who are willing to spend a lot $$$ into their gaming library.

If I am not mistaken, people from late Square wanted to include RD in Japanese version of CT (on PlayStation).
But Masato Kato didn't agree, he was ''embarrassed'' with game or something like that....
Someone correct me if I am wrong...
