That is so cute. What did you use to draw it, Katie?

Got myself a new DA. I'll put all my good stuff up there. C:

It prolly means that some stuff will get rotated pretty fast, cause I'll be all like "this is great!" and then a week later, "this sucks!" XD

HOLY CHICKEN-ROLLY! Am I starving for some art! Oh, I love you, dA community!

(Note to self: You're freakin' mediocre, Cyan, go reinvent yourself! Probably starting tomorrow morning, right after meditation; skip the gym. Go traditional.)

Assignment for Tone/Color/Comp: Take an object (I chose a strawberry) and show it in the six states of safety (going from in-your-face-augh danger to faraway-peaceful-not dangerous) using value and composition.

I got the best critique in the class~he only had one thing to say that was wrong with it, and everything else was aaawesome~oh man I was on cloud nine!

Here they are.

Am I posting in a wrong thread? I'm not sure.
This story made me want to learn drawing something. :)

The long prologue seems a bit off from the main story(which I don't recall I saw in the Japanese version), I guess it was designed for those who are not familiar with the legend.

Oh, shit! Doctor Who fanart!

Look at the sky. It's not dark and black and without character... the black is, in fact, deep blue. And over there: lighter blue, and blowing through the blues and blackness the winds swirling through the air and then shining, burning, bursting through: the stars! And you see how they roar their light. Everywhere we look, the complex magic of nature blazes before our eyes.
