I believe that lavos exist on many timelines throughout the series because he is mentioned in Crono Cross many times, plus he is nesting in the darkness behind the dimensions with the devourer of time. But keep in mind that you could beat lavos in any of the timelines with the exception of 65 million BC and the future. Also Since both woelds are split in cross in safe to assume that lavos is alive in both worlds but more in home world than another world.

When Lavos awakens the planet will??? The computer in the city ruins or if you want to call it lab 16.

Pokemon, did you finish both games and pay attention to the ingame details...?

(Not enough energy to debunk another one of Pokemon's claims >_>)

If you disregard something like this so venoumsly then you should point out 'why' you think it is and post an idea of your own.

100 gil says that you said that only because I got a low post count. Fail.

I simply dislike it. I think it lacks proof. Just wanted to state that.

Ok, we understand that you dislike it, but I'm curious as to do you have another theory that has more proof? I'm interested (Not as in, "interested in laughing at." But I'm actually interested in what you have to say against one of more commonly accepted theories.

(And also, next time can you post your dislike a bit more eloquently? Also, please don't treat this forum as a brawl between you and Nightmare...)

I think it's the most obvious thing one would think after playing the game: Lavos lives in the core of the planet, draining energy from the planet. No pocket dimension. There's one Lavos in each era. So for the events of CC to happen, I'd assume Crono and Co killed Lavos in 1000ad, so he wouldn't be alive in 1999.
That's what I always believed, since 1995. When I read about the pocket dimension thing, I thought about it as a ridiculous and fantastic idea. But that's just me I guess. Sorry ofr going "trolling" in here~

And well let's not get off-topic just because of my post. ;[

Heh, I remember this one freak who thought Lavos really did exist and was shouting all the time towards the end of 1998.

Lavos is going to rise! AHHHHHH We are all going to die!

Sad part is, he ended up killing himself on New Year's Eve...
