I still say it's possible that Magus gets thrown into a gate even in the original timeline...

And of course he gets nervous...He seems kinda shaky when he uses the Masamune on Lavos and it doesn't work, right?

Also, in Chronopolis, we learn a lot about cloning and how it's seemingly possible to actually clone someone's "soul". Perhaps this has something to do w/those images we see of Crono & Co.

Even if he did he would have been killed by Lavos like Chrono did.

For the illusion spell why would he teach it to Flea and never use it and why doesn't Zeal use the spell like Flea, because Flea can't possibly be stronger than Zeal

Even if he did what?

Also, just because someone learns a new trick sometime down the line, that doesn't mean they're stronger than anyone before them...I mean, those illusions didn't really trick me or anything...They were just illusions plain 'n' simple...

Even if he did end up in a portal opened by Lavos (which I don't think happen)

They were illusion but the one Flea made talked to the gang to get their inner feeling, while Zeal where only some hologram and nothiung to compare too

If Magus ended up in a portal, he could have been flung to w/e time and thusly wasn't killed by Lavos.

You really want him to survive in the Lavos Timeline, lol

It's unlikely since we would have heard of him through out time, but it's not impossible I guess

That's all I'm sayin. That's it's not such an easily writ off impossibility that Lavos chucks him into a portal...

Well he's a good Magician so I bet his summoning would have worked and he would have been killed.

but the spell may have too big to handle to him (like whan Chrono and co. messed it up) and he would have been sent to a portal probably 12,000,000 BC or else we would have known

IS there any difference to the for lack of a better term "Replica"s of the CT crew in the different time periods?

For that matter is there any difference in the black omen in the different time periods?

I know zeal says something different in each time period but thats  only a minor thing. Also im preety sure she only appears at the begining once no matter which time period you enter it first.

Can you go thru the bo in different periods and will bosses be there in each time period (assuming you did it in decending order) maybe different eniemies depending on which time period??

Next playthru id really like to go thru it a few times.

Ok I read on the forum (it was stated many time) that the mutant once defeated are nover there in any other time period if you defeat him in 1000 AD it won't be there in 12,000 BC, people were trying to say that the Black Omen is some kind of pocket dimension by itself since it's linked to Lavos

A lot of the enemies, once destroyed are destroyed for good on the Black Omen, but some reappear...I personally believe that the Black Omen is powered by a kind of pocket dimension...Or something...I'm pretty sure there was a whole thread for that (or a thread that evolved into that anyways?)...

Funny how a lot of threads get side tracked into something else.

1. DarkGizmo, It's 12,000BC not 12,000,000BC!

2. I never saw anyone in the tubes of light Oo. Maybe it's an emulator problem? Or they're just reflections of the chracters walking up toward's the Mammon Machine.

3. Magus knowns heaps of spells that are never shown. In RD, he transforms and he can transform people (Glenn=Frog) etc.

4. The Black Omen is probably in a pocket dimension since it is connected to Lavos and Zeal never ages either.

They are in tubes when you walk up to the Queen.  Its not an emulator problem and its not reflections.
