Someone on NeoGAF discovered this.

In Chrono Trigger, remember where Azala's base originated?

Well guess what was in Chrono Cross? The Archipelago

any other Mind Blowing discoveries?

Kaboom!

...is what my head just said. That's astounding. And it would, in a few ways, make complete sense. If that was originally the prehistoric Lair of the Reptites (worshipers of dragons, and lizard-folk), then it could possibly evolve/be renovated/changed over time along with its creators and become "Fort Dragonia", an ancient dragon-worshiping lair.

Very interesting.

You are comparing the entire pangaea continent with a small island.

But anyway the picture is very interesting.

I've seen that somewhere before... Anyway, it would make sense because Fort Dragonia is a Dragonian ruin, and Dragonians are evolved reptites. The thing that doesn't work is that in CC it is FATE that created the isles, except for Gaea's Navel.

Oh hey, I remember that... but yeah, the difference in size and location is such that it isn't possible. Heh...

Did they discover it from the Compendium?

http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/El_Nido_%28Coincidence%29.html

That's where I've seen it ;)

What does the Compendium not have about Chrono ?

I remember that I think the designers just threw it in as an easter egg. Probably placed bets wether it would ever be noticed or not

It is also possible the El Nido main island was designed like that, intended.

I never noticed that they designed the Archipelago based off the map of 65,000,000 B.C. So even though this is already known it is a nice surprise to me!

it's just a coincidence, I'm sure you can find that in any series. there's probably several others no one has though to try
