No, Schala would just die. But, I think he woulden't vanish or go to hell: He just woulden't be. Lavos would just die without merging, thus the TD never existed.

Does that mean the TD never existed in terms of time (considering there is none at the DBT, it acts like a PD and anything in it that ceases to exist at one point, never exists ever in the DBT) is that hard to understand?

I understand what you mean. But I think it's a different matter. The MoL merged the Timelines, as if Schala never really merged with him. Not like she was seperated, as if she never merged.

But schala would still have memories of the events (and so would Serge) that happened in the DBT while she was with Lavos/TD

If it is so, none would have memory of that. If Schala never merged, how could she remember? And if Serge never became the Arbiter, how would he remember?

Meaning, you need to use all seven colors in an order, and the Chrono Cross produces seven sounds, which become a tune called: "The Melody of Life", the award winning, Lavos-Ass-kicking tune which heals all wounds and destroys all evil. Cool, huh?

It's the Song of Life. The Melody of Life is from Final Fantasy IX

I always thought they called Melody... Then again, I could be wrong.  But yeah, Melodies of Life is from FF IX, Dagger's song...

So basically Legend, Serge and Schala go on living as if Serge had never become the Arbiter, Schala never fused...then what would Schala be wondering then?

Schala: Huh? Why am I here? Only seconds ago i remeber being in Zeal now im on this bloody beach...sigh

 :?:

~LC, still wondering...

But... even if the timelines were merged, that doesn't mean that they never had existed as different timelines. So the people who has switched between them both, whose body has been modified in order to store that information, that is, Serge and Schala (and the other two people who go with Serge into the tesseract), they should remember.
I think ^_^

But Serge forgets, now, dosen't he? Maybe she sent him back to Opassa Beach the moment the dimensions merged and stayed in the Tesseract herself with Kid. She can then leave the Tesseract, and be protected thanks to TTI. So that means she would remember, but Serge won't. Rather sad, really.

Is that the thing where say (example alert) like Crono goes and kills his grandad yet he still lives due to the TTI? Or is it the one where u cant have multiple copies of u running around like mad cows (no hang on, that Time Bastard)?

Time Traveler immunity is that whatever you do to yourself (or grand-father) you won't be affected, so yes you were right with your first example

Correct. Time Bastard is the copy, and TTI... That's probably that too, but it's like when Crono remembered a time when the Black Omen wasn't in the sky, and his mother didn't.
