Ayla has potential, as seen from her great speech. But she also has some of the most powerful techs, the most powerful critical, and she's involved in a few of the most powerful (single target) triple techs.

I agree with taking Ayla out... just consider that Ayla has to be awfully busy "populating" the planet with Kino

My thought (again): A pregnant character cant be playable. Take Lulu from FFX-2, was she playable...no...enough said.

Rule #153: All pregnant characters cannot be playable, therefore they give the protagonist hints, advice and help populate the RPG world.

I always enjoyed Ayla's character - a good member to have in the party, and I really liked the Reptites vs. Humans plotline.

I'd say remove Robo.  I've never been a big Robo fan - didn't use him unless I HAD to in CT, and I didn't really care for him as a character.  That's just my humble opinion.

Yeah, now that i think about it... Robo would be a good choice as well: he is a pacifist, and probably he is busy helping people in the future. I also support that who said that Frog/Glen's stats should be pumped par to Ayla's... just watched the ending again and he is totally beefed up

Boosting Glenn stats seems wierd to me for the gameplay it wouldn't be balanced.

Now i'm wondering how are they gonna explain the fact that the character went from lvl 45 + to 1-5? with lower stats and all...

Of course, it would make sense that Glen lost most of the magic abilities he had as Frog. Being Frog, he was a magical, cursed, being. Curses can have this effect (like when Athena damned the wise Tiresias, who happened to see her naked: she blinded him, but this also opened his mind eye, allowing him to see the future), and probably magic stats of Frog were boosted up by the curse. Once the curse is lifted, the magic stats would return to normal.

If Schala replaces Ayla then she needs some kind of magical stealing spell like Ayla...because she had Charm, unless you replace something of Marle's with Charm or something since they had a double tech together that did the same thing...

I think Schala is quite charming... that cute shyness Unless you give her more the personality of kid, then, that cute aggressivity... yeah, Schala really should have "Charm"

Really... in the version I read, it was Hera who blinded him for ruling on Zeus' side, and the Olympian in recompense gave him long life and the ability to foresee the future.
