A question about Kino

BTW, I can see the pictures now. They do resemble themselves, Kino and Crono. But it is a Toriyama drawing, and we all know he always draws like 10 characters with the same face in animes... They almost remind me of Gohan. Liek Lucca remines me of Bulma.

Actually, the anime cut scenes WEREN'T dont by Akira Toriyama, but simply lame-o Akira underlings.

I know. I had an hard time convincing my girl to play CT. She has an heavy case of Toriyama trauma, and I had to tell her Janus' back-story to get her somewhat intrested. She finally started playing it today.

You are lucky... my gf played it while being annoyed at someone, and now hates the game...
She liked CC, though.

Did Toriyama did ANY anime? I thought he only does mangas and other people (his underlings) actually draw the different animes.

Bah. Try to convince her to play it again. If I could do it (And with it comes to Akira, my gf is the most presistent person on the face of the planet) so can you.

You just called his GF an it. :)

Anyway, I'd guess that Toriyama 'invented' the style, and then just passed it on to underlings to do the hard parts.

Bah, sorry about that. I'm actually pretty gentle when it comes to gals. Part of the reason why my girlfriend likes me. I'm not a friggin pervert, to her (censored) words. Oo

Lol, it's ok :D not being english-native, i hadn't even noticed. Yeah, i am trying to convince her to play again... and take that Lucca-abhorrence she suffers out as well. Problem is that when she played, she didn't manage to save her mom, and didn't do barely anything of her quest, so she belives Lucca is just a smarter-than-thou person, lol. (She also believes Terra is only an i-search-love-while-the-world-crumbles char  and coudn't get her out of it... Terra is my fav. female FF char )
Let's see the new time  :)

Her suicide attempt is probably one of the most moving scenes in 16-bit

Chrono - Goku

Marle - the girl from the north village where the frankenstein robot nš8 was from... also a bit like Pan

Lucca - Bulma

Frog - ???  --> Glen - Vegeta

Robo - There is actually a robot like Robo during Dragon Ball... just don't remember where... i think that it was when Gohan was a kid.

Ozzie, Flea - They are recurrent designs in DB aliens :D specially in the sexually undefined topic :D

"Slush" - semiperfect Cell, several of the soldiers who worked for Freezer

Magus - mixture of Piccolo and Vegeta

pffffft...

Akira did Dragonball and the first and last stints of DBZ only. Everything else was just lame underlings. Just like the anime cut scenes. I shall never forget those small differences, which to me shall forever remain giant.

Yeah. The Sidequests really add a brand new dimension of emotion towards characters. I guess reviving Crono is kind of like his sidequest.

But... it's totally normal. I don't know about America, but in Japan and Europe the anime adaptations are nearly always done by other peoples than the original comic books. Drawing for a movie is quite different than drawing for a book.
