Radical Dreamers' Lucca & Gil

sent for a certain young lady... a very special young lady, you might say."
"This woman, owner of powerful mental and magical abilities, was the object
of Master Lynx's attention for quite some time..."
Magil turns his head away, hastily interrupting the old lady's speech.
"Quiet!" he barks.
"Ah, I apologize. How easily I forget the situation between you two..."
"Which two? Who are you talking about?"
"Oh, I won't bore you with details, young man..."
"But..."

What was the "situation" between Lucca and Gil that Vera is hinting at here? It's unlikely that she would know of their previous time traveling... Or am I overlooking this, and whom Vera is actually referring to in this sentence is Kid instead?

I'm not sure when in Radical Dreamers this dialogue occurs. I found it at the bottom of the script.

I remember this one, because I answered pretty much the same question before.
It belongs to the "The Shadow Realm and the Goddess of Death" scenario, so it's not referring to Lucca.

It's alright, I get messed up all the time with the "Magil is in love with Riddel" game script options. I don't think I asked about this one because I heard somewhere there's dialogue in the DS version of Trigger that made Magus/Lucca canon and really didn't want it to be true
