Kino, the not-so-powerful caveman from 65,000,000 B.C. who seems to be Ayla's mate and next-in-line to be chief of Ioka, is similar to Judas Iscariot, the Apostle of Christ who wound up betraying him to the Romans, and was pointed out by Christ for having done so during the Last Supper.
Judas betrayed Christ to the Romans for thirty pieces of silver (a material motive), after which Christ was apprehended. In short, the true effects of the act of betrayal occurred during the Last Supper. Now, in Chrono Trigger, Kino (Judas) steals the Gate Key from Crono (Jesus) during a huge banquet (a material motive) that is given in his honor in 65 million B.C., thus betraying him. This huge banquet in the honor of the Christ figure is very, very similar to the Last Supper of Christ. Even further elaborating on the similarity, after the banquet in 65 million B.C., the Reptite Army raids the grounds while everyone is asleep...just as the Roman Army raided the site of the Last Banquet after it happened and apprehended Christ.
