Zelbess is the late [[Fargo]]'s wife, killed in a dispute with General [[Viper]] circa [[1011 A.D.]] She is the mother of [[Nikki]] and [[Marcy]], and was sister to [[Irenes]]. She owned an armoire later kept in Fargo's quarters. Although in [[Another World]], Fargo cherished and fought for her memory on the [[S.S. Invincible]], ironically it was the worse Fargo in [[Home World]] that named his ship after his former wife. Masato Kato stated in [[May 2022 - Chrono Cross Radical Dreamers Edition Questions and Answers]] that she was "a graceful and gentle mermaid, just like Irene. I also think she had a quiet strength as a sister and mother."
