Chrono Trigger Prerelease
The Robot village is almost, without a doubt, the coliseum-like structure in 2300 A.D.'s lower left map corner. Its purpose is entirely unknown; some suggest it may have been a fighting arena similar to that of Final Fantasy VI's ruined world's coliseum. No new future-style area has been found in the Chrono Trigger Prerelease's location data, leaving this odd structure on the world map as the only clue to its planned purpose.
Chrono Trigger
The name Robot village is actually derived from Chrono Trigger, a name in the location data that does not correspond to an actual place.
