General Information
Chrono Trigger Prerelease
Era: 1000 A.D.
Music: A Strange Happening, Burn! Bobonga!, Chrono Trigger (Part One), Guardia Millennial Fair, Gato's Song, Prison Tower
Items: Silver Points
Enemies: Gato
The Millennial Fair is fully functional in the Prerelease; only a few changes are noticeable. These include an extra boy NPC who attends the demonstration of the Super Dimension Warp, the absence of the cotton candy vendor, and the standing of the woman who is sitting on the fountain in the final version. Also, the Gate background is the one used in the final version for the red Gate in Fiona's Forest.
Interestingly enough, one of the locations in the Prerelease is the default template with future NPCs on it and Millennial Fair music. It exits back to the fair. The code that can be used to access it is 7E010009; load it and reset the game.
Developers could obtain the Epoch at any time by using a debug object in the upper left of the Millennial Fair. Activating it would display the message "Time Machine Get", and it would appear on the 1000 A.D. overworld.
