The Time Research Lab is an enigmatic structure said by the [[Chronopolis Chief]] to have arrived with [[Belthasar]] when he entered the future in [[2300 A.D.]] This is strange, considering in [[Chrono Trigger]], only Belthasar's body was shown to be transported through time to the future. The only explanation perhaps lies in that Belthasar somehow knew of the [[Time Devourer]] even before establishing [[Chronopolis]], and made preparations before entering 2300 A.D. Nonetheless, this is problematic.

Chrono Cross

The Time Research Lab is the predecessor facility to Chronopolis that Belthasar first built after arriving to 2300 A.D. The Chronopolis Chief mentions it in his dialogue at the docks. The US version of the game contains a mistranslation suggesting that the laboratory arrived to 2300 A.D. with Belthasar.
