General Information
Nintendo Power is a monthly magazine covering Nintendo games, and in the late 80's and 90's, it was a must-have for young gamers (I started subscribing right after Chrono Trigger was covered). For about eight months, before and after Chrono Trigger's release, it was covered in every which way imaginable. Shown here are Volume 73 and 74, in which Chrono Trigger was briefly previewed and then reviewed in NP's RPG and Japanese games section, called Epic Center. More accolades for an RPG are not to be found anywhere else! The reviewers loved it, and named it as setting a new standard for RPGs.
