The only change Zenan bridge undergoes is a striking one; even in 1000 A.D., it remains unrepaired, probably to keep the previewers of the Prerelease from venturing into the empty Porre below. Though not the most interesting change of the Prerelease, it nonetheless affords a view of what the south end of the bridge would look like if it were broken.
The man in Truce Inn who, in the final version, asks if you remember the recent earthquake, explains why the bridge is out.
