The Lair Ruins are what is left of the Tyrano Lair after it is destroyed by the impact of Lavos. A crater is left in the wake, and at the base is a small cave with a Gate leading to 12000 B.C. The actual ruins of the Tyrano Lair were pushed far underground, only to reappear in 600 A.D. as within the Giant's Claw.
