Lynx is one of [[Serge]]'s main nemeses in Chrono Cross and the biological emissary of the [[FATE]] supercomputer, which had a lockdown placed on it that prevents it from accessing the [[Frozen Flame]]. As this is due to the interference of [[Serge]], creating two parallel timelines, Lynx resolves to find [[Serge]] in order to unlock the Flame. [[Serge]] defeats Lynx thrice during the course of his adventure; once in a battle with a doppelganger at [[Viper Manor]], once on top of [[Fort Dragonia]] immediately before Lynx steals his body, and for the final time in pitched battle in the heart of [[Chronopolis]], a human research facility built by the world's unified governmental body in the 24th century. It is later revealed by no less a personage than [[Crono]] that Lynx is actually [[Wazuki]], [[Serge]]'s long-missing father gone mad and broken into [[FATE]]'s slave.

In Radical Dreamers, Lynx takes on different forms depending on the scenario. In the main game, he holds the [[Frozen Flame]], a piece of [[Lavos]] that splintered off in the crash.
