The Sealed Pyramid apparently had a greater purpose in the Prerelease, perhaps holding much more treasure. As it stands, its twelve treasure chests contain 500g each. Currently, the last room of the Sealed Pyramid is inaccessible. The surface area that actually contains the Pyramid is unchanged from Chrono Trigger, though it cannot be ascertained at this time whether a charged pendant unlocks it.
