The Factory north of the Proto Dome is home to the R Series robots, of which Robo is a member. It must be infiltrated in order to activate the power to the Proto Dome, allowing either Marle or Lucca to open the door to the Gate there. It might have been where Robo was manfucatured, though it is a surety that his intelligence was created at the Geno Dome.
