Inquiry

Why is Dorino just plain missing from the 1000 A.D. map? Keep in mind that other explanations outside these theories presented here are possible.

Theories

Natural Erosion

The landscape around Dorino changed somewhat, as did the Denadoro Mts as time went on. Perhaps the nature of the changes (earthquakes, new mountains, desertification) simply made the area unlivable.

Unimportant Aspect

One fact of RPGs is that every villager, townsperson, and building cannot be shown in a city. The game could not possibly illustrate thousands of people in Zeal; by this virtue, perhaps other towns existed on Zenan, but were simply omitted as they were not important (while Porre and Truce, major powers, were). Under this idea, Dorino was omitted from 1000 A.D. as it had lost its importance to the plot.
