Magic

It is believed that throughout history only those individuals with an extreme sense of their surroundings (meaning nature) are able to connect to it on a spiritual level and express this connection by affecting (modifying) said surroundings on a whim. For many centuries humans were able to use (and misuse) this fantastic ability and even built an empire based solely of, by, and for individuals with the ability to use Magic. Unfortunately this brought about prejudice against those without this divine ability, and eventually segregation from their new "hollier than thou" society. It was at this point that the Kingdom of Zeal decided to physically separate themselves from such plain surroundings to pursue a place among the clouds elevating huge amounts of land interconnected with interdimensional transporters flowing with Earth's Mana (or spirit; the source of all magical activity)

Personality

Depending on the personality, or more explcitly, on the ability to cope with the responsability inherited by the magical ability the practitioner may further develop said ability and even expand to toher types of magic.
