Chrono Trigger Apocalypse Weekly Update #1
« on: November 11, 2009, 11:54:11 pm »
Well upon finishing my latest scene, I figured that I would give a weekly update from here on out to let people in on how progress is going with episode 5.

Let's start with the gist of how things are going, and I am very happy to say that as for the animation portion, everything is almost complete. As for thigns like the menu/credits/etc. those are always done last.

Everything is shaping up great and my biggest scene is complete. But my most intricate scene is next. Although it will be heavily coded, it shouldn't take long to make. It will have a deeper meaning where the outcome will be a gurantee. It's all about the effect of the scene and hopefully the average viewer will know whats going on (I know you guys probably will being big Chrono Fans).

That's it for this weeks update, watch for the next one, they always come out wednesday and I always include a screenshot!

Very nice, neo-fusion.

From this screenshot alone, it would appear to be a most pivotal scene in your story so far.

Nay, THE most pivotal scene in the story so far.

Man, it's good to be in the know.  Don't worry.  Mum's the word and always will be until you release it.

Its only just getting started.

The whole effect of this scene will give people in insight of the characters that will be involved here.

Is it just me... or are you getting ready to pull an M. Night Shayamalan on your viewers?

BTW, if ever you are interested...

Actually, I'll save that for a PM.

That's a nice looking effect you've got there. You've certainly come a long ways since when you first started working on this.

Interesting. I didn't know you could animate with Adobe Macromedia Flash. Is that CS3 or CS4? It must be hard and time consuming to animate sprites with the time line. *sigh* Man, I remember the fun I had in class during this past year.

I didn't know Flash did things other than animation and programs.
